The Home Gateway kit allows the owner to wirelessly connect their SolarEdge inverter to the internet through their router. It can transmit and receive signals from up to 15 inverters or other SolarEdge devices. The Home Gateway kit has a considerable communication range, reaching up to 50 meters indoors and 400 meters outdoors thanks to an external antenna on the inverter itself.
The kit comes with one ZigBee Slave unit and one Home Gateway. For multiple inverter installations, extra ZigBee slave units can be added. Additional repeaters can also be used to support lengthier transmission distances. This product comes with a 5 year limited warranty.
