Heri Kwetu Rehabilitation Center
The Heri Kwetu Rehabilitation Center in DR Congo supports people with disabilities and focuses on improving their quality of life. The Centre is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 1979 in South Kivu Province, Bukavu City - an area where the grid stability is often quite poor and power-cuts happen frequently. Due to this, the centre used generators as an energy back-up at high costs.
A 12kwp PV system combined with three BYD Battery-Box Premium LVL 15.4 battery systems and a Victron inverter provides a sustainable solution for a reliable power supply of the rehabilitation facilities.
