Sigenergy SigenMicro Inverter 1000W 2-in-1

The Sigenergy SigenMicro 1000W 2-in-1 is a single-phase microinverter designed to connect two solar PV modules, delivering a 1000W nominal AC output. It is suitable for both rooftop and balcony solar applications and combines module-level power conversion, monitoring, protection and WLAN communication in one compact unit. 

The 1000W model is designed for two commonly used PV modules rated at 400W to 670W+ each. It operates across a 16–60V MPPT voltage range, with a 20V start-up voltage, 16A maximum input current per input and 20A maximum short-circuit input current per input.

On the AC side, the inverter provides 1000W nominal output power and supports 220V, 230V and 240V single-phase grid connections, with a nominal grid frequency of 50/60Hz. The datasheet states THDi below 3% at nominal power and a power factor range from 0.8 leading to 0.8 lagging.

Sigenergy highlights an innovative DAB topology, together with built-in WLAN Mesh communication and an integrated EMS, allowing the system to operate without a separate network gateway. AI layout recognition is also included to support faster commissioning.

Integrated monitoring and protection functions include grid monitoring, ground-fault detection, PV module-level monitoring, rapid shutdown and surge protection. The SigenMicro 1000 also has an IP67 ingress protection rating, natural-convection cooling and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +65°C.

Installation is via a bracket-mounted design with a plug-and-play AC connector. The inverter measures 232 × 186 × 35mm (W × H × D, excluding bracket) and weighs 2.8kg. The datasheet lists a maximum efficiency of 97.5% for the 1000W model.
