The LONGi Solar 615W Hi-MO 7 is a high-performance bifacial solar module designed for commercial and utility-scale PV projects. The LONGi Solar 615W Hi-MO 7 HPDC Bi-Facial Solar Module is designed for high-output commercial and utility PV applications. Part of the LR8-66HGD range, this module uses advanced HPDC cell technology to deliver strong module efficiency and power, while its bifacial design allows additional generation from reflected light on the rear side where site conditions allow.
At STC, the 615W model delivers a maximum power output of 615W with a module efficiency of 22.8%. Key electrical values include an open-circuit voltage of 48.58V, short-circuit current of 16.00A, maximum power voltage of 40.71V and maximum power current of 15.11A. Under NOCT conditions, the module is rated at 468.1W.
The module is built with a 132-cell layout and dual-glass construction using 2.0mm + 2.0mm heat-strengthened glass. It has an anodised aluminium alloy silver frame, IP68 junction box with three diodes and 4mm² output cable. The module measures 2382 x 1134 x 30mm and weighs 33.5kg.
For system design, the module is rated for a maximum system voltage of 1500V DC, a maximum series fuse rating of 35A and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It also offers 80±5% bifaciality, Class II protection, UL Type 29 and IEC Class C fire ratings. Mechanical strength is supported by 5400Pa front-side and 2400Pa rear-side maximum static loading, plus hailstone testing using 25mm hailstones at 23m/s.
LONGi supports the Hi-MO 7 range with a 12-year warranty for materials and processing and a 30-year warranty for extra linear power output. The warranty chart on page 2 shows less than 1% first-year degradation, 0.4% annual degradation from year 2 to year 30, and 87.40% retained power output at year 30.
