The Sigenergy Sigen EVAC 7 4G T2SH UK WH is a smart 7kW AC electric vehicle charger designed for residential and light commercial EV charging installations. Supplied in an untethered Type 2 socket format with shutter, it provides a clean, flexible solution for customers who prefer to use their own charging cable while keeping the installation neat and practical.

Designed to work as part of the wider Sigenergy home energy solution, the Sigen EVAC Charger can support solar-aware charging strategies, helping homeowners make better use of available PV generation. When paired with compatible Sigenergy equipment, users can schedule charging times, select charging modes and switch between PV surplus charging and fast charging. PV surplus charging allows the EV to be charged using excess solar generation, while fast charging can draw from the grid and PV simultaneously for maximum charging speed.

For installers, the EVAC 7 is built for straightforward fitting and long-term reliability. The unit supports bottom, top and rear cable entry options, helping simplify installation across a range of site layouts. It is wall-mounted, suitable for indoor or outdoor use, and features IP65 ingress protection and IK10 impact resistance for robust everyday performance.

The charger includes a strong set of protection features, including integrated RCD-PD fault detection with AC 30mA and DC 6mA detection, ground fault protection, surge protection, over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, over-current protection and over-temperature protection. Built-in PEN protection is supported, making it well suited to UK installation requirements where PEN fault protection is required.

Communication options include 4G, WLAN and Fast Ethernet, with RS485 and Modbus RTU protocol support. User authentication can be handled by RFID card, app or auto-charge mode, while the LED indicator and app interface provide clear user feedback. Dynamic load management is also supported when used with a Sigen Power Sensor, helping prevent overload by adjusting charging behaviour according to site demand.

With a compact 234 x 384 x 139mm enclosure, natural convection cooling and low standby self-consumption of less than 3.6W, the Sigenergy Sigen EVAC 7 offers installers a smart, efficient and future-ready EV charging option for customers already using, or planning to use, Sigenergy’s integrated solar and battery ecosystem.
