Engineered for next-generation solar-powered sites, the Sigenergy SigenStor EVDC 25 5S2 is a bidirectional 25 kW DC charging module that slots into the SigenStor energy ecosystem to deliver rapid EV replenishment, battery-boosted fast charging and full V2X capability in one IP66 enclosure.

Power & compatibility

• 25 kW charge / discharge (80 A) via CCS2, supporting every traction battery voltage from 150 V to 1 000 V.
• Works in tandem with the Sigen Energy Controller to orchestrate PV, battery and grid sources for the fastest possible charge or a 100 % green “PV surplus” mode.
• Bi-directional design unlocks V2X functions—vehicle-to-home, vehicle-to-grid or smart-load management—without extra converters.

Smart-charging feature set

• Scheduled charging: start times defined in the mySigen app to align with low tariffs.
• PV surplus charging: prioritises excess rooftop generation; optional battery-boost with SOC cut-off for extra speed.
• Fast charging: simultaneously pulls from grid and PV; battery boost available.
• User authentication by RFID, app or open (no authentication) meets fleet, residential or public scenarios.
• OCPP 1.6J support, OTA firmware updates and remote diagnostics keep fleets online with minimal call-outs.

Protection & standards

• Built-in short-circuit, over/under-voltage, overload, over-temperature, reverse-polarity and welded-contactor checks safeguard vehicle and site wiring.
• Complies with EN IEC 61851-1 /-23 /-21-2 and ETSI EN 303 645 cybersecurity guidelines.

• Compact 700 × 270 × 260 mm module weighs 39 kg (7.5 m cable) or 41 kg (10 m).
• IP66 aluminium body and smart air-cooling operate from –30 °C to +60 °C; 5–95 % RH; up to 4 000 m altitude.
• Integrated LED status ring and bundled charging cable (7.5 m or 10 m) reduce onsite accessories.
