The SolarEdge S1200 Power Optimizer is a module-level DC power optimisation device for SolarEdge PV systems. It is used to manage individual module output, with a long input cable option for installation flexibility and compatibility with commercial three phase SolarEdge inverters.
Provides module-level maximum power point tracking to manage each connected PV module individually.
Rated input DC power of 1300 W, maximum input voltage of 125 Vdc, and maximum input short-circuit current of 20 Adc.
Maximum efficiency of 99.5% and weighted efficiency of 98.8%.
SafeDC reduces high DC voltage to touch-safe levels when the grid or inverter is shut down.
S1200 long input cable option supports installation layout flexibility.
S1200 power optimiser with 1300 W rated input DC power, 125 Vdc absolute maximum input voltage, 12.5–105 Vdc MPPT operating range, 20 Adc maximum module short-circuit current, 20 Adc maximum output current, and 1000 Vdc maximum allowed system voltage. Protection rating is IP68 / NEMA 6P. Operating temperature range is -40 to +85°C. Compatible with all commercial three phase SolarEdge inverters.
S1200 cannot be mixed with any other power optimiser in the same string. Each power optimiser may be connected to a single PV module if the string has a 1:1 configuration and it is the only optimiser connected to that module. Input and output connectors are MC4. When connecting to inverters that support Rapid Shutdown, each string must contain fewer than 28 power optimisers to meet NEC Rapid Shutdown requirements.
Maximum efficiency is 99.5% and weighted efficiency is 98.8%. The device uses module-level MPPT to manage output at module level.
