The SolarEdge Synergy 90/100kW Three Phase Inverter is designed for commercial and industrial PV installations requiring a high-power, modular inverter solution for 220V/230V line-to-line grids. Using SolarEdge Synergy Technology, the inverter combines multiple lightweight Synergy Units with a Synergy Manager, making it easier to handle, install and service compared with a single large inverter.

This model is suitable for SE90K and SE100K configurations and is designed for use with SolarEdge power optimised systems. The inverter power rating is set during commissioning, helping to reduce the number of part numbers required across projects and simplifying stock management for installers and distributors.

The Synergy platform includes a built-in pre-commissioning process, allowing automated validation of system components and wiring during installation and before grid connection. Each Synergy Unit can operate independently, improving system uptime and making servicing more straightforward if maintenance is required.

For safety and protection, the inverter includes SolarEdge’s SafeDC™ functionality, arc fault protection, thermal sensors to help detect faulty wiring, built-in nighttime PID mitigation and integrated, field-replaceable Type II DC surge protection. The datasheet also confirms integrated RS485 surge protection, optional Type II AC surge protection, and a DC disconnect option on the SE-TRI-RW00IBNQ4 variant.

The inverter uses MC4 DC connections, with the datasheet listing 12 MC4 pairs per inverter and 4 MC4 pairs per Synergy Unit for the SE90K/SE100K models. SolarEdge notes that only MC4 connectors manufactured by Stäubli are approved for use.

Performance is strong, with a maximum inverter efficiency of 98.3% and European weighted efficiency of 98%. The inverter supports Ethernet communication as standard, with optional Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity, enabling module-level monitoring and full system visibility through the SolarEdge monitoring platform.

Built for demanding commercial environments, the inverter has an IP65 rating for indoor or outdoor installation, fan cooling with user-replaceable fans, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +60°C. The modular design, pre-commissioning features and integrated safety protections make it a practical choice for large-scale SolarEdge commercial PV systems where installation speed, serviceability and system visibility are important.
