The Solis FlexHome 5kWh Low Voltage Battery is a compact and scalable home energy storage solution designed for residential solar systems. Using LiFePO4 battery technology, it delivers 5kWh nominal capacity, 100% depth of discharge, and an IP66-rated enclosure for durable indoor or outdoor-style protected installation environments. It is compatible with selected Solis low-voltage inverters and can be expanded as energy needs grow within the FlexHome range.

The Solis FlexHome 5kWh Low Voltage Battery is designed to give homeowners a reliable and flexible way to store solar energy for use day and night. As part of the FlexHome stackable battery range, this 5kWh low-voltage unit provides dependable energy storage in a neat, space-efficient format, making it well suited to residential self-consumption systems. Built with LiFePO4 battery chemistry, it offers strong safety, long service life, and stable performance for everyday use.
The FlexHome system is built to grow with changing household energy demands. While this model provides 5kWh nominal capacity, the wider range can scale from 5kWh to 40kWh per stack, with support for up to 4 units in parallel for larger system capacity. The battery operates across a 44.8–57.6V voltage range, supports CAN/RS485 communication, and is designed for seamless integration with compatible Solis hybrid inverter models listed in the datasheet.
Durability is a key part of the design, with an IP66 ingress protection rating and natural cooling for simple, efficient operation. The battery also includes a heating function, helping it charge in low temperatures, with a charging range of -20°C to 55°C and a recommended operating temperature of 10°C to 45°C. Solis states a cycle life of more than 6000 cycles or 10 years under specified test conditions, supporting long-term performance in residential storage applications. The 5kWh version measures 800 × 480 × 285 mm and weighs 70kg, with floor-mounted installation as standard and wall-mounting also available.
