The Solis IntelliHome 16kWh Lithium Battery is built for homeowners and installers who need larger-capacity energy storage with flexible installation options. Using LiFePO4 battery technology, it is designed to deliver reliable long-term performance, strong safety credentials, and compatibility with a range of Solis hybrid and storage inverter platforms listed in the datasheet. It operates within a voltage range of 44.8–57.6V and communicates via CAN/RS485.
This 16kWh model is suitable for projects where greater storage capacity is needed from a single unit. It supports up to 8 batteries in parallel, allowing total system capacity to be increased as requirements grow. The battery is housed in an IP66-rated enclosure for strong protection against dust and water ingress, and it supports wall-mounted or floor-mounted installation as standard. It also offers operation in low temperatures with a heating function and has a stated cycle life of over 6000 cycles / 10 years.
For performance, the 16kWh version has a rated cell capacity of 314Ah, a recommended charge/discharge current of 157A, and a maximum sustainable charge and discharge current of 157A. The unit measures 470 × 950 × 240 mm and weighs 126 kg, making it a robust option for higher-capacity residential storage systems.
