The Tesla Remote Energy Meter (TRM) is a monitoring solution for site-wide power measurement—especially in scenarios where loads or generation cannot be monitored through the Tesla Backup Gateway.

Designed for use with both Powerwall 3 and Powerwall 2, the TRM enables precise tracking of site consumption, AC-coupled solar generation, and upstream loads. It’s ideal for installations with complex layouts or where the Gateway cannot directly monitor all circuits.

Supplied with one factory-calibrated 200 A current transformer (CT) clamp, the TRM supports up to three CTs for flexible monitoring across phases or sources. It connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi or through RS-485 (cable not included), offering dependable performance across residential and commercial sites.
