The Trinasolar 460W Vertex S+ is a full black, dual glass N-type i-TOPCon solar module designed for residential and commercial rooftop installations where performance and appearance both matter. The Trinasolar 460W Vertex S+ Dual Glass N-type i-TOPCon Solar Module is a high-efficiency full black panel designed for modern residential and C&I rooftop PV systems. Built using Trina’s N-type i-TOPCon Ultra monocrystalline technology, the module delivers 460W of power with a module efficiency of 23.0%, helping installers achieve strong output from a compact rooftop-friendly format.
A key benefit of this model is its full black design, making it well suited to projects where aesthetics are important. The black anodised aluminium frame and neat cell appearance provide a premium finish for domestic and commercial roofs, while the module’s size and weight make it practical for installation. It measures 1762 × 1134 × 30mm and weighs 21.0kg.
The dual glass construction uses 1.6mm heat strengthened glass on both the front and rear, improving long-term durability and helping protect the module from micro-cracks and scratches on the back side. Trina highlights excellent fire rating, weather resistance and suitability for harsh environments, with certified resistance against salt spray, sand dust, ammonia and PID. The module is also tested for mechanical loads of up to 5400Pa on the front side and 4000Pa on the back side.
For system design, the 460W model has a maximum power voltage of 45.40V, maximum power current of 10.14A, open-circuit voltage of 53.80V and short-circuit current of 10.81A under STC. It is rated for a maximum system voltage of 1500V DC and a 25A maximum series fuse rating. The datasheet lists an IP68-rated junction box, 4.0mm² cables and connector options including TS4 Plus, TS4 and MC4 EVO2, with specific connector types subject to certification documents.
The Vertex S+ range is designed to support high energy yield in real-world conditions, with excellent low-light performance and a low temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C. Long-term performance is supported by a 15-year product warranty and 30-year power guarantee, with stated degradation of 1% in the first year and 0.4% annually thereafter.
