The Trinasolar 720W Vertex N is a high-output, bifacial solar module designed for large commercial, industrial and utility-scale PV installations. Built on Trinasolar’s 210 mm platform, the TSM-NEG21C.20 combines N-type i-TOPCon monocrystalline cells with a dual-glass construction to deliver a maximum rated output of 720W and module efficiency of up to 23.2%.

Its bifacial design enables the rear of the module to generate electricity from reflected sunlight. Trinasolar states a power bifaciality of 80% ±5%, with potential rear-side power gains of approximately 10% to 20%, depending on the installation design, ground reflectivity and surrounding conditions. This makes the module particularly suitable for ground-mounted arrays and other installations where rear irradiance can be effectively captured.

The module uses 132 half-cut cells and high-density packaging to support increased power density while helping to reduce the risk of hotspots and microcracks. Its low temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C helps maintain energy production as module temperature rises, while its performance under low irradiation has been independently validated according to the manufacturer.

A 2 mm heat-strengthened, anti-reflective front glass is paired with a 2 mm heat-strengthened rear glass and a 33 mm anodised aluminium alloy frame. The module measures 2384 × 1303 × 33 mm and weighs 38.3 kg. It also features an IP68-rated junction box and a maximum system voltage of 1500V DC, supporting efficient string design for larger PV systems.

The Vertex N is certified for resistance to salt mist, ammonia, sand, PID, LID and LeTID, supporting its use in demanding environments. Trinasolar provides a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year power guarantee, with 1% maximum first-year degradation followed by 0.4% annual degradation and a guaranteed output of 87.4% at year 30.
