Victron Multi HS19 Solar 15kW Three Phase Inverter Charger and Four MPPTs Rated at 32kW

The Victron Multi HS19 Solar 15k is a high-voltage three-phase inverter charger with integrated solar input, designed for demanding energy storage and solar applications. Built into a 19-inch rack-mount enclosure, it combines a 15kW inverter/charger with four independent MPPT solar trackers rated at 8kW each, giving a total PV capacity of 32kW.

This integrated design helps simplify system installation by combining the inverter, charger and solar MPPT functionality in one compact unit. The 19-inch housing allows the Multi HS19 Solar to be mounted in the same rack as compatible high-voltage batteries, helping to create a cleaner and more efficient system layout.

At its core, the Multi HS19 Solar features a powerful sinewave inverter/charger capable of seamless transitions between inverting, grid feed-through and battery charging. This bidirectional operation allows the system to charge batteries when excess solar or AC supply is available, then convert stored battery energy back to AC power when needed.

The four independent solar inputs provide flexibility when designing PV arrays. Each tracker supports a wide MPPT operating voltage range of 100V to 600V, with a 300V solar wake-up voltage and a maximum of 8kW per string. This makes the unit suitable for larger solar installations where multiple strings or roof orientations need to be managed efficiently.

The Multi HS19 Solar connects to managed high-voltage CAN-bus batteries and supports battery banks from 650V to 1000V. The high-voltage battery architecture helps reduce battery cable thickness and installation costs, while the unit supports a maximum charge power of 33kW at 800V.

For monitoring and control, the inverter charger includes a built-in display, Bluetooth connectivity for configuration through the VictronConnect app, VE.Can communication for remote monitoring through a GX device and the VRM portal, plus VE.Direct, a remote on/off terminal and a programmable relay. The relay can be used for automated functions such as alarm signalling or generator start/stop control.

With 15kVA/15kW rated inverter output, 22kW peak power for 5 seconds, up to 98% inverter efficiency and 99% solar efficiency, the Victron Multi HS19 Solar 15k is a powerful, space-saving solution for high-voltage solar and battery systems used in off-grid, backup, peak-shaving and grid feed-in applications.
