The MyEnergi EV Charger ZAPPI-2H07TB-G is a single phase, 7kW, Type 2 eco-smart EV charge point for electric vehicles. This product is black in colour and includes a 6.5m tethered cable for charging.
To comply with the latest UK Smart (Charge points) Regulations, the new range of Zappis incorporate tamper detection – meaning an alert is sent to your MyEnergi app if the front cover is removed. Zappi EV Chargers are also supplied with a built-in Ethernet port and WiFi, along with vHub functionality to enable quick connection to the internet.
Zappis can operate as a standard home car charger (using power from the grid) or utilise 100% green energy generated from your own home Solar PV system or wind generation. The chargers have built-in PEN fault technology, which makes them extremely safe and eliminates the need for earth rod installation.
For added security, the charger includes a pin-code lock function. One clip-on grid current sensor is also supplied with the unit.

MODES
- Eco – Primarily utilises green energy, but can draw power from the grid if the surplus generation drops below 1.4kw.
- Eco+ – The charging power is continuously adjusted in response to changes in generation or power being used elsewhere in the home. Your electric car charging will pause if there is too much-imported power, continuing only when there is surplus free power available.
- Fast – Charging at maximum power, regardless of the energy source (renewable or grid). If you don’t have solar panels or wind generation, Zappi will charge just like an ordinary Mode 3 charging point.
